Introduction
This is a tree of the ancestors of Marge, Lucille and Jim Montgomery who have all departed this world. Each page of the tree shows cards for a husband and wife, their parents, and their children. If you click on the husband or wife, you are taken to another page with further details for that person. Clicking on a parent or child takes you to that person's card.
Sometimes when there are no available dates for a person, it will look like nothing is known about him or her. That is not always true. Sometimes clicking on the person will display other biographical or research information.
Tips on navigating the tree
Navigate to the starting person of the tree by clicking below on Contents > Home.
If a person had several spouses, there will be list of numbers underneath the person's card. Clicking on a number will take you to that particular spouse.
Behind the husband's and wife's names are tree icons. Clicking on that takes you to a tree view of the contents so that you have a better overview. Please note that underneath the cards in the tree there is often a pop-up menu you can use to navigate to the spouse(s) and children.
There are items at the very top edge of the page to choose from:
- Contents: back to the opening page
- Home: opens the starting person of the tree
- Surnames: clickable list of all surnames
- Index: clickable list of all persons covered in the website
- Sources: list of all sources
- Contact: how to get in touch with the administrator
- Back: visible sometimes to take you back to the person's main card
- Search: just what it promises
Some persons have pictures or other items assocatated with them. If that is the case, there will be a camera icon that you can click on to navigate to the person's media page. If a person's card actually shows a picture, clicking on it will also take you to the media page.
Note
- An asterisk behind a middle name means that that is the name the person normally went by.
