Emma, Vita, Sophia, Irene
1924. The three women standing in the middle of the picture are (l. to r.): Emma Wyneken (“65”), Vita Kossmann, Sophie Wyneken (“75”). Seated woman is Irene Wyneken née Wesch. The one to the far left has been identified as Marie Werfelmann.

Dick Wyneken identifies the woman seated in front as his mother, Irene Wyneken née Wesch. He also at first said that the person between Emma and Sophia was Gertrude (Finley) Wyneken but later said he was mistaken. He adds that the picture was taken in front of St. John’s Lutheran in Orange. (Ref 41, 16 Aug 1998 - Fred contacted Dick directly)

Norma Wacker identified the person at the left as Marie Werfelmann which goes along with the name Werfelmann written on the back of the picture. (Ref 280, 8 Aug 1998)
