Dr Carl HL Wyneken, wife and possibly son
Dr. Carl Wyneken, wife Theodore, possibly a son?

There is another picture of Theodore sitting at a window in a chair. The man identified here as Carl Wyneken appears in the same chair in a different photograph. This leads Ulla Merz to conclude that this elderly man is Theodore’s husband, Carl Wyneken.

They had twin sons. Burghard was killed in WW I in 1918, Theodor died in 1979.

The young man pictured here seems to appear in other photographs. I can only surmise that it is one of the twins.

Theodore Wyneken nee Meyer 2
Theodore Wyneken, presumably with her son Theodor

Theodor’s twin brother, Burghard, died in 1918 and this photograph was probably taken later. Thus, if the man is Theodore’s son it’s probably more likely Theodor.

Theodore Wyneken and possibly children at lakeside
L. to r.: unknown, Luise?, Theodor?, and Theodore Wyneken

The elderly woman seated at the right is definitely Theodore Wyneken née Meyer.

The man sitting next to her also appears in other photographs with her and I believe he might be Theodore’s son, Theodor. Theodor’s twin brother, Burghard, died in 1918. My guess is that this picture is from later than 1918, so if the man is Theodore’s son then it must be Theodor.

The woman next to him looks like a woman in another photograph taken in Hildesheim. I have tentatively identified her as Theodor’s sister, Luise.
