[15] lists the head of household as Nancy P. Bruce. The other persons in the household are Mary E. Montgomery and children. I ams assuming that Mary E. is Nancy P.’s daughter, but I have no strict proof of this.
Ancestry.com makes reference to several other sources relating to “Nancy P(aris) Bruce” and “Nancy P. Harrison”, born in 1814, married to 7 Jun 1832 to Charles P. Bruce. It is possible that these records pertain to the current person, but I don’t want to assume that without confirming that it is indeed the same person.
Suggestion to future researchers: Look at the references in Ancestry but be very careful not to assume that they refer to the preson you’re looking for without coming up with definite proof. Ancestry provides plenty of information, including children of Nancy Harrison and Charles Bruce, but I didn’t see any source that included a daughter Mary E. born about 1838 along with other children. That is why I hesitate to say that the couple Ancestry is reporting about is definitely the parents of Mary E.

I asked ChatGPT

"Can you determine whether Nancy Paris Harrison (https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/59388649/person/430010208241/facts) was related to president William Henry Harrison?"

Short answer: probably not.

[Documented] Your “Nancy Paris Harrison” appears to be the woman born 28 Jan 1814 (often in Kentucky), who married Charles Polk Bruce and died 18 Sep 1901 in Montgomery Co., Indiana. Multiple compiled and semi-primary sources place her as a daughter of Joshua Harrison (b. 1780, KY/TN?) and Sarah (Paris/Pearis) (1784–1854), and as the mother of children including Joshua Harrison Bruce (1833–1891) and Thomas Polk Bruce (1850–1925).

[Documented] That Harrison line (Joshua 1780 → Joshua 1758 & Sarah Sellman; often traced further to a Josias/Josiah Harrison line in Maryland) is treated in older DAR/lineage material and community compilations; it’s a Maryland→Kentucky/Tennessee branch, not the James River “Berkeley/Charles City County” Harrisons.

[Documented] President William Henry Harrison (1773–1841) descends from the James River / Berkeley Plantation Harrisons: Benjamin Harrison I → II → III → IV (the signer) → William Henry. That is a distinct, well-documented Virginia political family.

[Plausible inference] I find no published proof linking Nancy’s Maryland/Kentucky Harrison line to the President’s James River line. Harrison studies (including DNA project summaries and standard family treatments) generally treat these as separate Harrison families; if a connection exists, it hasn’t been demonstrated in the literature.

Bottom line

[Documented] Nancy Paris Harrison Bruce belongs to a Maryland→KY/TN→IN Harrison branch; [Plausible inference] there is no documented relationship to President William Henry Harrison’s James River (Berkeley) Harrisons.
